When I get my Grey Poupon minus the unwanted Volvo the guy at the drive through window tried to give me I will elaborate.

 

Well, since my quest started in late Sept, the first deal fell apart. I just followed my usual methodology, trudge forward, one foot in front of the other, and progress is inevitable. Halibrand Steve and I are doing a deal on an early 1 13/16" throttle plate Hilborn set-up with an Enderle 80A pump and a bunch of other parts, we are just sorting out shipping. The deal I am doing with Steve is actually probably a better deal than the one that fell apart.
I have spent the last few months since this started doing more research and thinking about what the part throttle cruise issues are, and how to lessen/resolve some of them, I have some more ideas that I think will enable me to make this work fairly well on the street while using all vintage stuff for the pieces people can see.
