    Beautiful work!!!

  5. thanks :)

the rod end does currently foul the cowl, but it won't once the pitman arm has been heated and shaped, like the mock up arm in post #289 :)

I really dig those headers! It'll sound menacing..

.. But not with a single two-barrel up on top. C'mon.. Spill the beans. What do you have planned for the intake? :D

  14. TexasSpeed, i'd love to run a row of three strombergs but i'm a broke-ass loser who never has money so that isn't going to happen for a while, i have a plan for what to do in the meantime though, you'll have to wait and see.

after i'd got the fit of everything right i tacked all the pipes together with my mig, i then gave them to my mate turk who rules at TIG welding and owed me a favour.

i then spent what felt like 100 years sanding out all the welds and polishing everything. if you ever plan on making headers this way, prepare to have two very tired arms!

Seeing how you're going with those headers - couldn't help but think of these and how they're cut on the ends...

  19. sorry for slacking, i've been busy playing with my brothers new boat :p

headers are pretty much done, a few welds left to polish but they are fully welded now, i can't wait to hear them!

the tabs that join the tubes together are positioned so that they are pretty much invisible when viewed from the outside.

i've also been narrowing/reshaping/extending/notching/generally butchering a dashboard that i want to use.
