    :confused::confused:

    Maybe a good many will be in Winston Salem but not everyone.
    This swap meet is the one that used to be in Maggie Valley and in the past ... it has been a good one for early Ford V8 stuff.

    I went to it a couple of years ago and didn't find it as good as when it was enjoying the afternoon downpour of the valley. Old ford parts seems to have dried up. The asphalt was not as welcome as the muddy grass IMHO.
    Has it been any better in the last few years as far as early ford stuff?

    Yeah I was just kidding Deuce. I know there won't be as many as I'd like to be at the Heavy Rebel show but I thought I would entice some more people to show up. I've got enough to last me for a good bit so I'm heading out to have some fun. You go spend money, that's fine by me!

    but if you guys with your dialed cars show up to HRW then the press of the show will make others want to show up with their dialed rides next year and so on and so forth. there are a lot of great cars in the south and a lot of really crappy shows because there is not enough unification.

    getting off of my soap box now :D

    AMEN to that! Cooler ice had melted after about 2 hours.:eek:

    Lots of vendors; not many buyers today.

    Another good haul (for me):D

    8BA Mallory dual pt with beehive coil: $85
    33-34 windshield frame, nice with glass: $100
    NICE pair of 32 headlights: $100
    Couple of boxes of Bob Drake 40 stuff: $40
    40 steering column with shifter and working key and lock: $40
    Nice 37 V8 trunk handle: $10

    Gonna be even hotter on Sat.:eek:

    Sounds like a good haul Bill. I spent the day with Cliff in Tampa yesterday while you were snapping up all the goodies.
