.....this was the 20th anniversary of the Amelia Island Concourse, and I must say, this was the best show they have put on.The East v West was a once in a lifetime event for me,no way would I have the chance to see all these great cars in one place......here are a few shots...
That's awesome. Nice to see the recognition of these cars among the concours crowd the last few years Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
PKap,you are right....rods have had a good showing over the past few years at the Island....about time...
Wow..... That's an impressive line up...... Quite a few years ago I went to the LA roadster show and took in the Beverly Hills concours. It was so cool that my dad, brother and I stole three Beverly Hills police department "no parking" signs as a remembrance.......sacrilege I'm sure!
......even caught up with Bruce Meyer.....he's a great guy......met him in Goodwood in 2000,and in Jackson Hole ten years ago......he's a hot rod guy for sure...
The Beverly Hills police have asked the local southern California television news stations to broadcast your faces (your images were captured on a surveillance camera), every year on the anniversary of your crime. You are infamous out this way ...
black vette 59, my comments were directed towards the builders of those two "cars". my written word sometimes doesn`t reflect my thoughts. i`m glad you had an opportunity to see all those original cars, there is nothing like seeing them in the flesh. looks like you traveled a pretty fur piece to get there. thanx for sharing your photography with us. tom
You caught all the East Coast cars, Larry Hook's Norm-Wallace '32 would complete it. Beautiful gathering there, thanks for these pics.
