    this will be one that i open ever time it gets bumped
    nice
    i want to do wheelies like that blue and white 56 on the street
    just with my f100 that i am building now

    A couple of pics of my Corvair gasser---yea,a Corvair. Front motor--had big block Chevy and small block Chevy at various times-4 speed car--was ALL over the track! Red before I got it--green when I had it.

  12. when i was 3 or 4 years old i saw this run against " the little red wagon" at beach bend. i'll never forget it.

  20. Yo Baby.....That's an Australian altered. The wheels were made in Australia by Ian Splatt.They are called Dragways. In the late 70's Jim Walton would bring that car over to New Zealand to match race our local hero Pete Lodge, good memories!!

  25. Hey Gearhd69, that early white Barracuda you posted is Bob Sullivan, from KC. He was a fuel dragster guy, and according to one of his drivers, Ray Sullins, they were sitting around one day and wondered what would happen if they took the nitro engine out of the dragster and stuck it in his brand new 'Cuda....that was the result! Some people feel that this was the first blown nitro doorslammer.....let the debates begin!

    Here's a few...I'll start with Fast Eddie.

  28. BTW, Dawn: Thanks for posting that shot of your dad's Opel getting chummy with the christmas tree...one of my favorite shots. I still have those Car Craft issues where Jon Asher (IIRC) was driving that car.
