  2. cool mr. norms 68 charger pics. this is the car that gary dyer had a fire in not too long after it was built. he got burned enough that he wasn't to thrilled about driving again. the chassis was sold to fontannini for their charger. norm told me he was not happy it was sold to a local competitor. the chassis is now in wisconsin under a perfect period correct challenger.

    Post # 41990 Fremont that's Cloy Martin Sacramento calif he raced Vacaville on Sat Nights in the brackets. Raced him one night me at 12.90 him at 10.50 when I got into hi gear I looked up . I still had rear view mirror seeing the dust from his headers he pasted me in the lights. Vacaville at night was dark at the end past the finish line. We had some good times there.

  12. Post # 41997 is Glen Patrick at Lakeland International at Memphis, Tenn.
    Glen later owned the "Little Thunder" 64 Thunderbolt , which when it was sold was found to be the #1 Thunderbolt.

    Gerry Anderson, Vancouver, Wa. Set the D/D National Record in '63. The car was later deemed illegal because the engine served as the top frame tube, like a tractor. Flathead ran a 180 Degree Norden crank ! Gerry Anderson.jpg

    I spent about 30 minutes in the bomb aimer's seat in that one a few years back while flying over the east side of Indy.
