I just received a phone call from Sherry who is one of the folks involved with running the Candia, NH swap meet.

She said its back to stay and in full swing. They are taking pre registration applications or just pay as you go.

Here are the details:

Second Sunday of every month.
From - MAY to OCTOBER

Isn't the 2nd Sunday the same as the rescheduled Amherst meet?

 

Ok So Candia is back, what about the coffee princess?

Anybody have the current dates or schedule for epping and amherst?

 

Glad to hear that... Never got a chance to go the first time around, looking forward to checking it out.

According to Hemmings, Epping is the last Sunday of the month. Do people still go to Amherst?

 

The guy that bought the Amherst property tried to recoup some of his investment the wrong way. Now he is trying to make a comeback, supposedly the 2'nd Sunday of the month. He upset quite a few dealers as well as spectators. I went to Candia when it was operating, and I will go there again. Epping wouldn't be doing so well if the guy from Amherst didn't get greedy. I will go to Epping, and Candia even though they are a longer drive from Connecticut.

Lots of regulars from Amherst have moved to Epping, and now we have TWO GOOD swaps to go to a month.
We must make a sacrifice to the coffee gods that the Princess will return!!!!!

I told Clyde Kelton I'd watch his stuff so he could go check out the "food truck"--he came back about 15 minutes later with coffee, a donut, and a sandwich. All he said was "Jesus Christ!!" for about the next 15 min.!! ( I think that was the day she had the ( loose) bikini top and dungaree cut offs on.) WTF!

I got the call too. I don't think I'm going to vend this year but I'll be popping up at Candia and NED this season for sure.

 

I'll go to Candia for sure. Just a short ride for me. Glad it's back.

Thanks Ben! Helpful to those who are new to the Swap. It's in a beautiful spot , very well run, and before the temporary shut down was attracting some good vendors. (And now you can go to this AND the Dragway.) Save your snow shoveling money!!
