Shit, I don't see why these couldn't be included. They are art and speed oriented. Is that a Navarro head???? :) :D

Hang in there man. I have a good friend that just moved to Calli, just starting on his bone marrow transplant. Be tough and you will come through. The worse thing for the body, is for the mind and spirit to stop supporting it.

Hey Woodguy...Get well man, were pulling for you!

Will those heads fit a 37' flatty? Are they guaranteed not to warp or crack? :D

Yeah WOODGUY Keep us up dated on your results man. Hopefully the next challenge is woodies!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Woodguy: May God Bless You and Watch Over You during your treatment and recovery process. I will include you in our prayers and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

As for the woodworking, I think that should definitely be a part of the contest as most castings start out as a...wood master so since it's a chicken/egg relationship anyway, I'd vote to include the Woodman's Art...

May you feel better soon and just know we are all pulling for you!!

All the best regards-Mark aka W.S.

    +1.

  7. My exact sentiments.

Killer wood work Woodguy. I love seeing something unexpected and so
    uniquely qualified.

God bless you and get better.

Woodguy, hang in there. Try to keep your spirits up. The woodworking would be a great way to do that. I didn't have to go through the radiation but have been doing the chemo thing. I kept doing as much as I could. Just to keep on keeping on. That was my way of approaching and fighting the "Big C." You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  9. Woodguy, I offer my prayers and best thoughts and hope for the best in your recovery.
I, too, think your work should be included in the art challenge.

Were you been Man! Good to see you post again! Nice job on the Drawing!

  17. OK gang; maybe I'm stretching the envelope a bit too wide here as far as the Speed Equipment-theme goes... However; didn't want to go the "hardware" route so I did this instead:

Faux-vintage speed shop decal - Decalcomania!

It is loosely based on an actual vintage logo from Eddie's Speed Shop.

Do a Google search if you're wondering what a "Fifinella" is!

    Great timing!
I promised a friend that I would make a "Speedshop logotype" for him. When I saw this contest I suddenly got a deadline. This is what came out. I hope you think it fits in here.
I'll try to post a linked (Photobucket) image. Hope it works.

Woodguy: "Krya på dig" (Get well soon).

Nice one Dutch. We're on the same page...I thought about a carb or air cleaner or...

This is my official entry. I love the Salt cars!

How much speed equipment was used or invented on those Laker's? I know of one! It is the fresh air intake. Now used on all modern cars!

I deleted my old post. And I finally figured out how post a bigger pic.

  28. What do you guys thing about extending the deadline until the end of the year? i usually don't like to do that, but we are getting close to the end and the turnout has been a little light. I wonder if everyone is busy with the holidays and could use a little more time? Send me a PM and tell me what you think.
