Yes sir,,,We just rolled another pickup project in the shop today,,,this time it ain't mine but my pal Daves,,,,, This is the guy that help me put my 32 pickup on the road,, It all started last week when we were talking over lunch at the local Hooters and when we left I tossed him the keys to my 32 and rode back home with Greg in his lightning truck,,,, Dave has been without a hot rod for about a year now and he had the biggest possum eatin' briers grin on his face when he pulled in the driveway,, Over the past few days we have talked about doing a quick build and getting him ready for the nats south in Knoxville Tenn. So the decision was made today to pull his 34 truck cab outta storage and slap it on the ol cobbled up 32 frame that was under his coupe,,,, This is just a roller,,we plan to do a lotta work on the frame,,, With both of us working regular jobs we think we can pull it off in 3 months,,,,,working in the evenings He has a sweet flathead and we will make a bed like the one on my truck,,,and for now it will be a hiboy,,,,we will use some parts that are already there and replace some,,,like the leaf springs in the rear For now,,, here are the photos,,HRP
Now Rich that's just wrong ,,, They were on the 5-window coupe Dave bought last year,,,the body was pretty nice the worksman ship was very crude,,,even by RAT RODDERS STANDARDS,,,ha,ha They do make good rollers and ya can leave them outside,,nobody would rip em off. HRP
We can give ya a super rate on the paint.....materials at cost and cheap labor...need a project to keep the boys busy and work on something fun.
