Thanks for not hacking out the rear wheel openings.

thanks for all your kind words. yes, I would love some skinny slots. have an interested party looking to trade. I wonder if he knows how much those ten spokes cost? Would you believe $350 including freight...each! Speedway. Plus tires/mounting!

Love the car Bobwop, makes Panneton Bros. Racings look like a low rider.
I would love to own either one of them. Killer looking cars guys.

  8. Super cool 56 right down to the colors. By the way, to get the big block in there did you mod the firewall at all or just move it forward?

took out the wiper motor, lowered the motor mounts and squeezed it in. Actually, it is back about .5" from the old 283 that came out.

thought we would change up the look a bit. We had been running the skinny slots and front runners for the past couple of years.

we installed brackets for a towbar and have some tow hubs. We plan to flat tow it to the Hunnert Car Heads Up.

today it was bright and sunny, so we decided it needed some shades!

we ended last season in the 12.40's. Swapped in a 4.57 in place of the 4.30. Hoping for better 60' times and thinking it might carry through the traps. We have only been at 5200rpm at the traps, so an extra 300rpm may help. Time will tell.

funny thing about this "street freak"...it races dozens of times each summer with the Midwest Gassers and is a real crowd pleaser. Street Freak is likely a correct term, but it is a race car, not a wannabe gasser like so many of them.
