Thats pretty weird. I own a Genuine horsedrawn cornbinder. Made by John Deere in Canada How do you connect a Canadian made horsedrawn farm harvest implement to an International truck?
My dad had a red 69 binder w/ a 500 inch caddie in it he would smile thru all the farm truck jokes then blow em away in a drag race I tried to get him to paint it yellow and call it creamed corn ... nice build you got there
where'd you go bob? don't leave me hang'n. i've got the same truck. i want to see the body mods so i can decide if i want to cut mine up. looks nice so far.
BOB...FANTASTIC! that's going to be 1 of the finest H.A.M.B. rod's and VERY unique for sure and certain. i'll be watching this 1 closely...POP.
Wow, can't believe this got dug up. Here's what's going on. Back in the begining of March I had an accident and tore all the ligaments in my right knee. I had reconstructive surgery and months of pyhsical therapy. I went back to work in the shop in june. That was three months of no working and for a newer shop trying to get things going, the situation was rough. I have been completely focused on paying gigs since June. The '47 is on the back burner for now. I started a different shop project during the holidays. This is one that fits better into the direction I think the shop is heading. That's a Harley V-Rod motor! I'm still building hot rods and race cars. In fact I've recently started a build on fellow HAMBer Dirty30Dodge's 3w coupe. I have not abandon the Binder build. It is still going to get built and I will revive this thread when I get back to it. Thanks for all the interest guys. Bob
Nice looking project Bob. I've had my foray into the bike scene but since its slowed I've been working back on my own stuff ....... or at least buying more tube to getting farther underway. I still have my '96 softail custom but back onto my '46 heavily. The coupe needs to be finished. Keep us in the loop on the project progress. Paco
Good looking truck, thought I'd send you a before and after of a KB49 I put together. Sold the truck last year, sure do miss it! Maybe you will see it in Ft. Worth area sometime. Looking forward to the progress. ( I took 4" out of front of bed, also made full running boards out of two sets)
I guess Bikes and Binders just go together. I have been following this build too and I look forward to seeing your progress in the future. Im in the middle of a 48 KB-3 build myself.
Hey Bob---get back on the Binder. You got me started then disapeared. Just a couple so far of mine since you started yours.
