I have some interesting compression design numbers...I assumed a .039 head gasket, my 76 cc heads and the SpeedPro 12.5 cc dish pistons. Using a zero deck makes the quench .039.

If they zero deck my block, that will bump my static compression from 9.160 CR (.025 deck) to 9.629 CR (zero deck).

It changes my dynamic compression from 6.732 (.025 deck) to 7.061 (0.000 deck) with my H-260-2 Crane Cam.

I also ran the numbers with the Comp Cams Extreem energy 4x4 cam 12-231-2, and the dynamic numbers are much higher 7.215 (.025 deck) and 7.572 (zero deck).

The lift and duration are similar between the cams, but the opening/closing timing is different. I am amazed how much difference there is between these "similar" cams.

I wonder if I made a good cam choice with the Crane cam or if i should get the Comp Cam.
