36 Ford Pickup

STILL FOR SALE!!! Cab was found in a barn, had pass. door, nice windshield frame, rear glass frame, cowl vent. bought a drvr. dr. at Hershey, got a latch & window reg. too. had to patch dr. bottom, needs a little bondo. Hey, I wasn't goin' for the Ridler. no glass, (see Chris Blattie on the HAMB) rear cab panel has holes. have new rockers to be installed. I was starting to channel it the width of the frame. havn't made any major cuts yet.

Chassis is a 40 Ford. was on a running driving car. dropped axle, discs, P&J shocks, chevy non-posi rear, chassis eng rr springs. power steering box, chevy eng mts, turbo 350 mt. master cyl is just hanging, but plumbed in.

started frame to mount bed floor, mocked in in a VW gas tank. had a fab shop bend some galv. bed sides, have van roof for bed floor & tailgate inner panel. have sht. metal to make gate & frt. board.

I have a nice 35 Pass. car grille, hood& sides and frt fenders. also a glass rear that I believe is 39ish chevy. have a 40 Ford Car title. FOR SALE!!!

 

ok, pg 2 eng/trans are bare, just for mock up & are not mine. bring 4 chevy 4-3/4" BC wheels and some lugnuts too.

got the Honda. now making a faring outa cardboard to cut the wind. if I varnish it a couple times will it withstand speeds over 200?

 

couple guys said to use POR15, if I put it on real thin will I still be able to see through it?

 

POR15 flaked off. I guess all those threads about having to paint over rust were right.
