9.5:1 will support a camshaft with ~212 degrees duration @0.050" tappet lift. That's not nearly enough cam to support a tunnelram setup. I'm aware that my knowledge, wisdom and experience is falling on deaf ears and that you're hell-bent on using a tunnelram on the street, but I at least feel the need to try to get through to you. Go ahead and make your mistakes and hopefully you will learn from them.

    Back in business.

305 worked actually pretty good w those heads, cam etc.
Sure stock converter was "bad", but it was drivable.

Anyway high rpm and long stroke is always bad, and my rod went bad.

Finally got new engine , it is 283 +.60 forged pistons and rods.
    Part numers:

    Pistons: 334-99 / L2302
    Block: 3834812 (.60)
    Crank: 3735236
    Rods: Scat h-beams

heads are same #401 and +50cc well Compression is gonna be bit too high for pump gas,
sure i can use really bad-ass camshaft to get dynamic compression low.

Im also moving to manual trans, got saginaw 4-speed, so camshaft can be big.

My guestion now is about pistons, I need to know dome cc of the pistons.

    Free word!
