    City: Burleson

    State: TEXAS!
    Price: $24,750

THIS IS A GREAT-RUNNING, WELL-BUILT AND WELL-FINISHED HOT ROD WITHOUT A STUPID-HIGH PRICE! BUILT TO DRIVE AND ENJOY! CHECK THE VIDEO, PHOTOS AND THE SPECS! READY TO ROCK 'N' ROLL! AND...I'D CONSIDER TAKING A ROADSTER IN TRADE!

DSC_0388.JPG carlswork9.jpg DSC_0024.JPG Special11.jpg Special15.jpg DSC_0419.JPG Very unique semi-custom '55 Buick with warmed-over 350 Chevy engine (mild street-friendly cam, Carter 9625, Weiand intake, HEI ignition, dual exhaust, etc.), Gearstar TH350 with street-friendly torque converter, Chevelle 10-bolt with 3.2:1 street gears, Chevelle 4-bar coil spring suspension. Mildly lowered, HD gas shocks, anti-sway bars front and rear. BFG T/A whitewalls, Scarebird front disc brakes on original spindles. Manual brakes and steering. Drives easily and handles great!

Stock appearing interior and exterior. Paint is the original colors for this car, Galway Green and Cameo Beige. The original color paint is older Nason brand base/clear coat that is still in great condition but is not without age-related flaws. Never any through-rust. Comes with completely rechromed front and rear bumper sets, excellent used grille, tail light trim, etc. not yet installed.

Interior is fresh, done in an original-style cloth and vinyl. Headliner is great, carpets are new as well. Door panels are original. Dash has been repainted as have all the window interior moldings. All the original guages work, augmented by three SW electric gauges which hide under the original radio grille. Car is a radio-delete and clock-delete model. Tinted glass all around from the factory.

Great driver, won Street Eliminator at 2013 Texas Nostalgia Drags. Quick, smooth and dependable. Comes with freshly chromed front and rear bumpers, guards, bullets, etc. Priced for a quick sale. Fly in, drive it home. Now $24,750. PM with questions. Thanks!

The '55 Buick Special is the same size as a '55 Chevy and weighs about the same. It's also got plenty of interior room for those of us who've "expanded" over the years. The stock seats are very comfortable for those with back backs (any fussy wives!) and the ride is very comfortable as well.

If you've "outgrown" your traditional '32 or earlier hot rod, perhaps this roomy and comfortable Buick would be perfect for you.

IMG_6322.jpg This car was built to be a modern version of the legendary California Highway Patrol cars of 1955, the first year that law enforcement recognized the need for pursuit cars that were faster and handled better than those driven by law breakers. With a strong Chevy V8, a Gearstar-built TH350, and Chevelle suspension with heavy anti-sway bars and disc brakes, this one puts those early Buick pursuit cars to shame.

This car was built to enjoy on the road in the driver's seat, not in a lawn chair. It's not detail perfect, but it drives and handles the curves in a way that will put a big grin on your face. It's not the "mushy, floaty" Buick your grandparents loved, it's a serious enthusiast car with a great set of road manners that you'll love from your first time behind the wheel.

IMG_6257.jpg This is a car you'll want to keep! It's fast, quiet, smooth and good-handling. And it's an eye-catcher in the original colors, Galway Green and Cameo Beige. Still available!

Yello Belly First Round Loss - Didn\'t Clean Tires Well Enoug.jpg Nice car, great road vehicle, smooth, comfortable and fast. Street Eliminator Champion, DFW Nostalgia Drags, 2014, seven rounds to the win. (That's tire smoke, not exhaust. This motor is tight and right!)

Fly in, drive it home! Just installed a new Edelbrock 1405 600 cfm to replace the older Carter 9625. Why? The new Edelbrocks are highly ethanol resistant, much more so than the older pre-alcohol carbs like the 9625. Reliability is the name of the game.

This car is handsome in a very adult and nostalgic way, well-built and road ready. Lots of new chrome. Still available, cash or will trade for a nice roadster.

If your roadster seems a little "snug" lately, here's a great alternative. Roadster swaps considered. Oh...and I'll take cash, too.

This is a truly great driver hot rod, clean and bright enough to show very well and yet nimble on the highway and back roads, fast and fun as a hot rod should be. It's just all-around fun!
