Well...I guess I'm not going to live forever so I've got to let some of my projects go before they're completed. This '54 Merc hardtop is one of 'em. Nice straight nearly rust-free body with almost no rust or damage. It's powered by a Lincoln Mk VII 5.0 Litre V8 fuel-injected engine, AOD transmission and 9-inch Ford rear axle. Full dual exhaust. Runs, drives and stops. Front end has Aerostar springs, dropped spindles and power disc brakes. Rear end has lowering springs and lowering blocks. Mercury power steering, Chevy C-10 tilt steering column with column shift and '54 Chevy steering wheel. Completely rewired with Painless components. All workmanship to this point is first class. Car is complete with all exterior trim and interior parts and pieces. Interior is an old diamond tuck job that will need redone. All glass is good though some of the rubbers could stand replacement. All the hard work is done, needs only finishing. The Texas pink slip is clear, it's in my name and it's even registered in Texas with transferable year-of-manufacture plates. $7,500. OBO.
Still available. What a great cruiser this will make! Super solid with Lincoln 5.0, AOD and 9-inch already in place. Runs and drives. What else could you want?
Ready to be finished! Kool Kustom or performance street cruiser - your choice. The good stuff is already done! Just add your good taste!
5.0 HO Lincoln Mk VII engine and AOD transmission, 9" rear end. Dropped spindles, disc brakes...and style! C'mon, now...!
Great custom material, driveline and chassis work already done. Super solid body. Great project to finish...
Ready to finish the way you like it. Drive it while you're doing the finish work just like they did back in the '50s.
