1953 Mercury VIN plate Decode

Good afternoon,
Look what just followed me home. Its a 53 Mercury Custom Sport Coupe. I was looking at an engine and...Anyway I am having a heck of a time decoding the Vin Plate. Any help would be great. Also any help on breaking the news to the bride.

Good looking Mercury, what shape are the floors and trunk in? And I'm pretty sure 53's came with flatties if that helps, I know 52's did and 54's have Y-blocks.
