This Kustom was bought new, and is still owned, by the same person. It was customized from 1954 to 1956 by Gene Winfield. For the full story take a look in "Traditional Customs" for the "Gene Winfield Custom Found" thread. Leland Grantz, who bought this car new, is my friend and hero, and his insight and guidance led to the completion of this outstanding kustom. It was not built to show, it was his personal ride for 64 years. I can't begin to list the modifications to this wonderful cruizer. Nothing was left untouched, and everything changed was for the good, not just to change. Call me for info. Bruce (208) 695-3956

Unfortunately, Leland passed away last week. Thankfully, we had great conversations for the past year, most of which I have documented on the HAMB.

Remember, this is not a "new" build. It was customized by Gene Winfield for the original owner, and is still in that owners name. It has never been out of Leland Grantz' possession.

Hopefully Leland's Kruizer will be at Sacramento next week. I haven't heard back from the show guys as yet, although I sent in the entry late......
