1939 Ford Coupe traditional old style hot rod. I am selling this car for a long time family friend. The car is in good running and driving condition, showing some age as it was built in the 70's. The previous owner bought it in the early eighties and always kept it in a garage. the car has the following: Clean CA title as a 1939 Ford in current owners name with a current CA non-op 327 chevy engine 4 barrel carb with edlebrock aluminum manifold long tube fenderwell headers 4-speed muncie transmission Rear axle is from a 55 chevy Early ford dropped beam up front with original style leaf spring and coil spring helpers No major rust ever, only minor surface rust from age Sun Tachometer Good tires with old chrome steel wheels Fiberglass rear fenders 1940 Ford Hood and grille Old traditional hot rod interior in decent shape Car runs and drives decent as is, needs some minor TLC here and there to make it into a daily driver. Paint is in decent shape with minor dings and scratches, but does show some age. Drivers window glass is cracked and window riser works but needs repair. All other glass is in good condition. Trunk latch is missing some parts, hence the bungee holding it shut. Original gauges are there and look good but are not functional. Has some aftermarket gauges that work to monitor all the important things. Keep it as an old style hot rod or restore it however you like, very solid car to start a modern hot rod project with.
