    for sale havent seen it in person guy claims its rare and only 12,ooo made , looks like a homade pos to me w roadster rearend ? anyone know what it was

    it's a early 30's coupe/cut roadster with a later 30's windshield section grafted onto it...

    Grille's '46 Packard; hood side is '38 Chevy; body looks as Henry29 said '30-31 A but the cowl looks wider than it should be - maybe the body was widened to fit that windshield ('37 Ford?) and frame (ditto?). Lotsa luck if you buy it - the build thread should be, uh... entertaining.

    not interested in buying it was wanting to educate the current owner as to what it actually is so hes not roping some poor soul into thinking they really have something special

    It's not a roadster though, just a model a coupe with the roof cut off.

  27. it may be a sin to crush old tin but at some point you should just put the poor thing out of everyones misery..... depending on the cost a guy might do ok parting it out , id take the grill and the wire wheels for the right price

    I don't think you guys are looking at the same photo I did. I saw a vintage (? I hope) build with a rolling flathead powered chassis. look at the step up after the firewall. looks like some good stuff.

    look at the nose. looks like it had a nose with maybe that grille in it. look at the frame
