HOLY MOLY, that last run of the Winged Express with the wheels turned hard left as the car is still pulling right is absolutely pure insanity. Thank you very much for this post. I think I just wet myself.

  7. THAT was one of the finest pieces of drag racing footage I've ever seen.

I didn't get to see the Winged Express run...this well made up for it. You caught that fire too! We were just walking out when that happend and man, it was something else.

    Thanks a lot.

  15. Larry Pfister is from the Vancouver, BC area and puts together a nice video. They are probably available at his website. I think it is www.horsepowerheaven.com. He used to do the Loafers Nostalgia drags at Mission Raceway and it was great too. Fordnutz.

Me and FEDSLED saw Mike Boyd run 205 in Boise and when He came here I told Him, I think You can do a 208 here. He ran 209 Friday 209 Sat and 210 Sunday !!!!!! We saw the last 4 passes that car did and ALL were His fastest to date. Mike Boyd has the BIGGEST BALLS IN DRAGRACING.
Here He is signing the dash in My racecar ---FEDER

Thanks for the post. It looks like they really stepped it up this year. I didn't go because last year was kinda lame and had nowhere near that class of action. Sorry I missed it and hope they repeat for next year

I didn't know it was going to be like that.I thought it was going to be like the nostalgia drags that happened earlier in the summer.I went to the unfinished nationals instead.Lesson learned I guess.

Well I don't come on here much, but that was great. Thanks for the great shot of my buddy John Shoemaker givin the thumbs up. We were helping out Brenden Murray over the weekend. It was great to see the crowd out there on Saturday. I don't like the Goodguys, but they give us a place to race. The Shoemaker & Glucoft fueler will be out ther come March Meet!

Hey Steve, good to see ya! I'm bummed I missed it. I met John at his place in the spring and I saw that chassis. Nice piece. That motor is a piece of art.

Holly shit, That was the coolest wheel stand that i ever seen Kenny's Austin do, and it's on video. And the "Winged Express" damn, what can I say. Wish I was there on Sunday to see the 210mph pass, but the 209 was very impressive on Friday.
