Just wanted to put the word out, Metallica is having their own festival, called the Orion Festival june 23rd and 24th in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Although it is a rock concert and festival, there are also going to be alot of other attractions. One of those attractions will be a carshow..... admission is free, in fact, participants get in the show free. check it out at orionmusicandmore.com ........

I would love to attend. James hetfield could have a one man car show and leave everybodys jaw on the floor.
And later metallica tunes are bad ass.

I saw this and was thinking: oh cool I only live about an hour from Atlantic City. I'm in. I like Metallica & Hotrods /Kustoms that sounds killer.
But wait.... It's $150 bucks for tickets.

never-mind. I will blast Kill em All and surf the hamb instead.

    What happened to affordable concerts?
They don't exist unless you go to local shows.
Most people don't realize that you can go to a local show for 10 bucks hang out with the bands and have drinks and most likely spend under $30 all night. (depending how thirsty you are.)

i saw them on that tour, they played in London earlier on that month i think. love them. Hard to accept that I have been a metallica fan for nearly three decades.....

i heard a rumour while i was there that JH and KH had visited a couple of the FOBs in Afghan, anyone else hear that?
