started work on Dennis truk, here are some spy pics. the vibe we are getting is kinda like the rod and custom dream truk and the tow rig that was pulling it when the wreck happened in kansas. So think along those lines and you might see where we are going with this truck and my stude. just sayin................you know putting it out there, in kustom land all things are possible..
and heres a pic of the stude, a lil more radical, but maybe it's time to finish and have a dream truk wild and tow vehicle vibe going. It's a kansas thing. after all the "wreck" happened somewhere in kansas, and kustom city is in kansas, and Dennis and I live and breath kansas. so it only makes since.....
Good seeing the progress of the two trucks over the years. They get better each time I see them. Your avatar looks ALOT better. I first saw the Stude in Nebraska.
I realize the Quad headlamps may not appeal to everyone, but I dig them! Really helps give it that period look. Nice treatment on the hood as well. Thanks for sharing. JT Orlando Misfires C.C.
the 58 is a small window fleetline. it's running a hopped up 292 inline in front of a 700r4. no airbags. just low for life...... we're just adding some scoops, some frenched antennae, rounding some corners and filling some seams.....also gonna run fender skirts....... It'll be at the roundup in the rough..... and at Salina maybe not as rough......
Jeff, that Stude truk...is that the one that has the wild console in it...I've seen it somewhere, just don't remember where...Salina maybe...??? R-
For driving around in the summer I prefer the small window. It doesn't get all fish bowl hot on you. Looking good so far, can't wait to see the progress.
I remember seeing the Stude at an Americruise run in Lincoln, Neb. a few years ago, I might have talked to you if you were driving it at the time, I had pics of it and the dash and console on my old computer until it crashed, nice Kustom. cant wait to see it again if it is at Salina this year. DING DONG... hello your geetar is calling ya wantin you to take it for a walk, cause you aint gots no car to take it fer a ride in............ yea, yea I've heard it all, but i asure you theres more work in the rest of the truck then anything you will ever build, so lets get onto the real problem solving.........
lol, sorry that struck a nerve, truck looks very right on, but dual quad headlights always remind me of those custom late 70's vans with the tube grilles.. i can only HOPE to be able to do like you say and "have more work in the rest of the truck then anything you will ever build,"...you act like you know me or something??? i guess you think REALLY highly of yourself....thats the fucked up thing about hotrodding/customs, ,, also, for future reference, sometimes when you post pictures of your pride and joy on the world wide web, believe it or not,you might hear responses you dont like, even if they are ment to be lighthearted,
