I'm building my first rod, a 28 model A sedan. The work to build it I can handle and I've met a few local guys that are good resources for info and stuff which is pretty cool but my problem is that living in a non-rod local all I have to go on are pics of sedans, nice to look at but hard to judge proportions. So what I'm wondering is if someone can help me out to get an idea of where I'm going by id'ing a few things about the sedans in the following pics, such as ride height at the bottom of the body/frame, front & back. How much its chopped and what size tires their running Any help is appreciated it.
JimA can't remember his own phone number, but could tell you everything that you would ever want to know about Model A's.
In building my '31 coupe,I have found on occassion it is helpful to know how Henry did it originally. Fordbarn and Ahooga have pretty good discussion panels that can get you this information. These are traditionalists who put as much craft into their cars as we put in ours, they just don't cut them up.
