More garage service rigs, this time in Springfield, Mass. Nice Caddy and Packard. The Packard photo is from Detroit Public Library, where they say it is a 1910 model 30, engine no. 20900. That number would make it a 1912, and to add to the confusion, the radiator cap is from a model 38 or 48. No doubt the guys at Oliver & Howland used what they had on hand.

The garage of Edmund Cogswell Converse, Greenwich, Connecticut. The garage
to end all garages. A Packard Model 30 on the left and a Pierce-Arrow on the right.

Here's one for our friends in Canada - an early Russell, made in Toronto. They made cars from 1904 to 1916, when they sold out to Willys-Overland. This car was a 1907, and belonged to Mr. A. A. Bayliss.

Joe Tracy in one of the Famous Locomobiles in 1906 that went on to win the vanderbilt Cup race in 1908. Old 16 the winner in 1908 still exists and is at the Henry Ford Museum. The engine is an 1100 CI four.
