[Let's see if I do this right this time] I'm new here and am not exactly a computer whiz but I felt this was at least worth a try. I am in the process (a long one at that) of restoring and customizing my vehicle... this would be it.. (please ignore the fool on top of it) I have already worked on several things concerning the 'under the hood' region and by far the most important, it is now time to work on the body a little. I want to have it painted black where it is now light blue and at least a little maroon or deep red.... my problem is that I don't know if I just want it the litten section between the chrome, or where all the dark blue is. The interior will be cream (already on the knobs, stearing wheel ect.) and black. It will have red and cream striping on the back 'door' where the actual car will be painted black and possibly on the hood. Any opinions on colorings or anything else for that matter would be greatly appreciated. --Anchor
that's going to make a cool hot rod! have you considered painting it flat black with red wheels? That would also look good with white walls. thanks, Paul
That car is UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!!! haha just kidding, nice to see you finallly joined! I think you should go with the black and deep red, but you knew that already. rjb
From one flatlander to another, Welcome. To Goolagong, I believe the general mood around the HAMB is.... take your comments back to whatever rock you crawled out from under. You seem to have a distinctively bad attitude about this board. From your Wally world comments about toys, to some of you're other sarcastic comments. Farmall
The funny thing about gooloagong's message is that he may be serious. That's shows a sign of a true poser.
Welcome Anchor, nice plans for your car. A distant buddy of mine had a 2 door wagon I just loved, he sold it before I knew it was for sale. Googalot, if you read this. Try to add something constructive to your comments. It would be much appreciated.
Yeah, I had not considered doing it flat black with red wheels because well, that is just about any car ever...not quite that many I know, but you get my point, besides it has all of it it's orginal hub caps and what not and I would like to keep them and the tires orginal. Oh, and just because there was apparently some confusion, except for in the case of RJB, I'm a lady.
I'm "old HAMB veteran" enough to not have to be nice to newbs who want to play smartass. So if no one else is gonna say it, I am. SHUT UP YOU FUCKIN TROLL! Go touch up the flat black spraycan job you did on mommy's 4dr import sedan you poser and get outta here.
I hear ya Fraz, This Googagong has not contributed positively since he has joined. I for one think the "Thanks Paul" signout is getting old and is Cocky. I have tried to be patient with this jerk but its wearing thin... Here's his contribution to the Hamb...... My opinion is he needs to shut up and learn if he wants to be here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/search.php?searchid=11927&pp=25&page=1
Sometimes u just have to go ahead and do it. The great thing about paint is u can change it, and its kinda like a new car again.
Reminds me, I gotta find that son of a bitch. It got squished after it flew off and a mini-van ran over it.
