It's the correct front clip, all '48-50s are the same. I don't know the seller, just trying to help out two HAMBERs.

This one is low budget. I can get it rolling for under $4K and make it a decent driver for a bit more than that. That would really blow it.

Im building a 49 for my daughter and trying to get her involved also. I personally like the 51 Grill better.... but I really dont know why I do. I just do. Here is a pic of her after we filled the emblem holes.

I really like the later years too. These horizontal bars are homely. I am planning a way to make the front end look better to me. I am consulting Jack Daniels at the moment for guidance.......

Is that a Camaro/Pontiac clip? What engine? Just curious.........

UPDATE: My title guys can no longer deal with out of state title transfers. Well, I didn't have a title anyway, and I towed this vehicle out of a friends yard, therefore it will qualify as an abandoned vehicle. That is the way I am going. I sent in the paperwork and it was rejected. The title guys said to leave nothing blank and to not write n/a in any blank, but to draw a line through it. I did this. Well, fuck me.........on the back side of the pressure transfer carbon copy form were faint lines that I was supposed to write in the "towed from" address and a release signature. I have pretty damn good eyesight, and looked at the form a few times before I noticed it. Why in the flying fuck would they put lines on the back side of layers of carbon copy forms? Well, I filled it out and am sending it in again. I won't turn a wrench or swing a hammer on a project until that title is in my hand......wish me luck... or beer.

I'm starting the same project on my 50 F1 with TCI front and rear. I plan on keeping the flathead V8 matting it to a S10 T-5 trans. Good luck on yours...

FFFFFFFFFuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.........!111!!!1

I had my abandoned vehicle title rejected twice now and just sent it in the third time. Filling out the form makes no sense at all. Fucking MVD cunts!!! I hope all those fucks get cancer.

Well, anyway, we will see what happens this time..........I have a bunch of parts stacked up, but won't turn a wrench on it until I have the paper.

That gate isn't too bad. Most of the ones I come across are bowed and the top roll is smooshed.

I've been slacking. Finally found a round tuit and got going. This is two evenings of work after the day job:

I started stripping the back today at about 1PM. The spring hangers were welded ALL THE WAY AROUND!. I cut them with a cut off wheel and then snapped them off.

Three hours later I was hanging the rear end:

As always, second guess TCI's instructions and measurements. This placed the rear 1 1/2" too far rearward. I will chop all four bars and re-tap them to locate the rear end properly. I take a bunch of side photos before disassembly of the sheet metal and I marked the centerline of the stock rear end. This would have been a very quick job on a stock truck without the welded hangers, and with properly dimensioned kit. I could have cut off the rear running board mount and moved the front four link mount forward, but I would have had to add an outrigger to relocate the bolt holes on the rear running board mount. My axles won't spin with the t-bolts on the brakes tight, so something is out of whack with the bearings or the axle length.

Here is why my axles wouldn't spin. I bet they didn't need this seal with the tapered roller bearings:

I had to take a lot of breaks Sunday because it was well over 100. The swamp cooler and fans helped cool the welds and the welder. At 9PM Sunday night, it was a roller again.

Here is the welder:
