Could you tell me how much chop does your windshield have and also what make top bows are you running? thanks
My chop,is only a 2 inch, and I laid the windsheild back 30 degrees, and the top is a sid shavers Bop Top.
Thanks for the pics John.A couple of questions: Does Jim(can't remember his last name)still own that center door T in pic #5? What is that old racer with the cyclops windshield in pic #31? The Lincoln in pic #17;is that the one Kelsey chopped? Also that silver 40 Standard sedan looks like it has a really beautiful paint job;I'd like to know what he used for the paint. Didn't realize the Endicott show was on this weekend or I would have stayed a couple more days. Talked with Don Cavanaugh last Monday and he(and about a dozen others including Shirley Ellison)were taking in a show in Monckton N.B.;about a 12 hour drive from Boston.Supposed to be a great venue.
I can only answer 2 of those, the T sedan got sold couple of years ago,the gentalmen that owned it,now has a orange A sedan.I dont think kelsey chopped the lincoln, its a new car, completed last year,I could be wrong,he could have chopped it.
The centerdoor T is unusual, a neat, tall, rare brass model hot rod. Ribby Dionne of Acton Mass built the orange A sedan mentioned above, he traded it for the centerdoor T a few years ago. You will often see Ribby's T at Amherst NH on the last Sunday of the month.
Jim bought the center door T in British Columbia many years ago and drove it home through the upper USA and Canada putting on nearly 6,000 miles the first time out!The car ran flawlessly and I don't believe ever gave him any trouble. It originally had (I believe)a 2800cc Ford V-6 for a motor.Jim used to run a cruise night in Saugus at Augustine's Restaurant on Route 1 back in the early 80's;wore an Indiana Jones style hat all the time.Damn memory! I still can't think of his last name!
