WNY Gasser Gang Series photos

The Gasser Gang of WNY holds a series race switching between Lancaster and Leicester, NY drag strips. Yesterday was at Leicester and it was a good time like always, now onto the photos.

That's it, that's all I took, didn't get them all at the line but was trying, Like Ford Freak said July 3rd is the next meet at Lancaster.

 

So you guys are letting cars that would be classified as altereds or modified roadsters run as gassers to fill the fun fields?

Thanks for the pics, Phill. Sorry I couldn't be there too, but I sure won't miss Lancaster on July 3rd.

 

no puke problems this weekend...lol I think it was the hot italian sausage, the burger and two dogs mixed with half dozen beers that got me at Thompson.
One guy had the wagon,studabaker and the gray nova, if he comes I'll try and get photos or maybe check that Gasser Gang link for photos.

 

you see Bernie pulling the wheels eh, they were a tad higher but trying to time the camera with launch is a bit tricky,I think I was hole shotting him with the camera lense...lol

I'll definatly be there!! thanks, past few years have been awesome.Also by chance did anyone ask the Z' Brothers how they are coming with that Turbonique Cougar?

 

Not much happening with it as far as I know, their fleet of cars keeps them busy plus the truck they tow with.

I'm really diggin' that white two-door Falcon wagon! Also....and I can't figure out for the life of me......I think that Henry J with Henry The VIII painted on the back is really cool. I'm picturing the car painter saying: "You want what painted on the back?"

 

The Gasser Series continues tonight at Lancaster, NY also got a few funny cars coming in for the regular show. Time trials start at 6:00 p.m. see ya there.

 

They are racing today at Leicester, NY starts at 1 p.m. till around 9 p.m., nothing to do come on out !
