Fabbed the headers and the exhaust pipe. Made the in-board mounted shock mounts and hung the brake/clutch pedals and the gas pedal. Right now, I've been modifiying a model A steerring box to become a center steer unit and I'm waiting on some parts to come back from the machine shop so I can put it all together. I just got done laying out the pattern for the firewall and will be making that up later this week. I'm wundering about you pedal placement.Your right foot can't reach the brake. How will you hold this on an incline, brake, and pull away, let off the clutch and accelerate? I'm faced with the same problem on the hoodlum. My placement is different, clutch on the left side of bell and tranny.Accelerator on the right side of the bell and the brake to the right of that.I don't need to use the brake and gas at the same time.I do need to use the brake and clutch or the clutch and accelerator at the same time. Thoughts?
I am putting in a hand brake; but in my other modified it's set up in a similar manner. Mostly though, fast foot work gets the job done .
