Default Drinking and Driving ... Pinewood derby style
Thought I would share some photos with you guys. A few of us Hambers have started a once a month Pinewood Derby event at our local bar, the Bigfoot Lodge. It's the last Tues. of every month if anybody in the Los Angeles area is interested. 21 and older of course.

Way cooler than the "Guitar Hero" stuff they do around here!
I've got a track in my garage (I'm a Cubmaster) and I've been toying with the idea of an "Adult Pinewood Derby" this summer for local HAMBers... could be fun!

KOOL!
I was just in the Hobby Works yesterday and saw they were selling the Derby kits again, that is just too cool!

Looks like a downright cool bar to hang out at too, the only drawback for me, is there is no Yeungling Lager on tap. Not your fault, its East Coast only brew(side note- I was surprised while visiting a friend in Vegas, one bar actually had it imported, at 7 bucks a bottle )
Yeungling is prolly the only thing that keeps me from movin' out west...well, that and family...maybe.
I wonder if I can convince the owner of my local haunt to host something like this...

Yes, Same bar. Good eye. But they actually built an exact replica of the entire bar on a sound stage for the movie. Crazy huh.
