While I was in the hospital the other day, I noticed the scrub sink had foot-operated controls for the hot and cold water. They looked like spoon-style rod pedals to me, very long (could be modified to fit your length)...what do you think? I'm sure you could pick up a set for cheap from an industrial supply house or plumbing salvage place, or from a hospital remodeling project/restaurant foreclosure. They come in chrome . Just an idea-
Looks like a great design for something like a T with limited floor space. And, while you're at it, get to work growing a really big kidney stone you can polish and use for a shift knob... Put your whole body to work at rod building, not just your hands.
Quote... "The pedals must be reversed: hot~throttle/cold~brake...?" Hot for the clutch, cold for the brake. Very cool idea.
