Is that the decklid from Santa Maria? If so, I should've doubled the price...it's straighter than mine!! :D

Really like the looks of the car so far.
Sure do wish that kit was available back when I did the kick-up to my car, it would have been so much easier.

first time dude! i just bought a millermatic 180 a/s and i had never welded on thick metal, so i practiced on some scrap and cut the piece in half to see if it was getting good penetration and it did, so i just went at it and did my best with some common sense and a little help from the HAMB.

hey bro!! again thanx for your help homie!! i feel like were tight!!!! LOL!! yes it's the same decklid and it fits reaaaaal nice, i opened the top corners and sides from the inside and re-welded them and now it fits like a glove. i just got a whole bunch of 16g sheet metal and next week im gonna close the inside and tunnel it, the body is definitely a little weak right now.

    thanx again homie!!!

Haha I let one of my buddys air out my car one time. He did it from outside the car and lowered it onto his own foot.

  20. Got a profile shot of the whole car? Looks very very nice from the rear..........said the 25 to lifer.

thanx man! the pics below are from today and im too lazy to go push the car out , i dont have a front suspension yet, it's sitting on casters and it's a bitch to move it out. i wish there was no filler at all on my car but as a first project im pretty happy with it. i still got a bunch of body work left but i wanted to put the suspension in so i wont put anymore major stress on the body.

Dont beat yourself up about the filler, its your car, 'YOU' did it........and doing a nice job so far. If your going to make that car super minimal, i look forward to seeing more done.

    Keep it up.

Nice job on the notch and bag job. Your welds look real nice for never welding on thick stuff before.

    I really like your car

great job, especially if it's your first time doing frame cutting/welding... I wish my wagon could sit that low but I don't want a big bridge hump behind the middle seat...maybe on the next car! lol...
