this is Hoptup Jalop's 52 chevy weve been working on ,it has a fatman altra low, gambino taildrager ,and a new product weve been working on ,"lil dave's" aka motor mounts ![IMG]
we've been monting the top for bars of the tri link on the front of the rear end housing ( instead of on top )to give us more clearance under the rear seat
    [IMG]
and we've moved the botom bars to the bottom of the frame instead of in the midle of the frame
    [IMG]
not 100% happy with the bottom bar that low to the ground but it words far better in athere areas

  10. Looks great Al...Dave's motor mounts on Scott's car are as cool as the one's on the 40!!

What's the advantage of putting the bottom bar bracket further down on the frame?

    No worries.

Not to hijack, but it's looking good for the Starliner to go to SEMA.

  19. so that sounds like its set up for bags? im running some old school hydraulics in my 51, is there a different set up for that. will this kit be at the show this weekend to look at? i'll have my booth there also so maybe we can chop it up then.

Nice Alex. I need to cruise by the shop. Do you have any pressure switches laying around for my set-up. Want you to check out the wiring job on the bags too, I think they should be strong now, but I want your opinion. Thanks for the help again.

So do you put a shifter boot or something on the bars where they come in through the floor, or will there be access from the bottom. Great work by the way.

thanks my nefu kicked ass again he rules

we will be offering them in 3 forms
    drilled front and back
    drilled front only
    and plain

    thanxs ill tell dave
when they come to market they be called "lil daves"

will be avalible soon, small block chevys and m2's there always is a motor mount problem cause the steering wants to be ware the motor mounts are
this is are solution to the problema

im lovin the responce on the mounts thanxs cant wait for us to be selling the bad boys

more clearance under the back seat,in the past the top bars were ending up to high in the front mount.you want bolth bars parelrel to each other so there is hardly any pinion angle change,by mounting the top bar on the front of the rear end housing and droping the bottom bar to the bottom of the frame we gain almost 3 inches in clearance on the top bar under the back seat
