I didn't expect this! Kevin Lee shot the photos a few months ago and said it would be in the Magazine, but the cover?

    This is neat!

All the credit goes to Jeb Scolman of Jeb's Metal and Speed, Long Beach, Ca. That is him on the english wheel in the cover photo.

The car is painted now and with alot of work will make its first outing in Paso Maria (Santa Maria).

    Congrats.
Car looks amazing. Dumb question , Is there 2 different covers for the magazine, I was looking at one on the stand today and the cover had a painted car and a small pic of the before.

It's on the inside but not the cover of the Magazine rack edition. The red 36 From Norway is on that cover.

I've about worn the print off the pages looking at your car. Great work there Congrats on the cover.

Yep, zombiehut, two different covers. Most magazines do it.

Yep, 2 covers. The subscription one has my car and the news stand one has the maroon one.

Awesome car!!! I had people that aren't even into cars stop at my workstation and stare at the pics of both cars. It should be a crime to cover metalwork that nice with paint. This car may move Bob Benn's 36 to second on my all time favorites list.

Beautiful car, con gratulations to the man who did the metalcrafting and to the owner of the car. It takes two to build a car, both with vision and skills.

I saw your car at Jeb's a few months ago on a sunday after we were at long beach. It was absolutely beautiful, hands down Jeb is one of the most talented guys out there who isn't well known yet. After seeing his work in person and talking to him, he is just amazing. He is the real deal, eat, sleep, and think of hot rods 45/7. Great car.

Congrats and soooo well deserved holmes...I loved the article!

36's for me are the ultimate taildraggers and i just love how well thought out all your kustom touches were on it...The car really flows and the look is dead on.

Please post pics of it painted!!
