Laser Vision Welding

Never seen it before, but my buddy Matt used it making my transmission x-member. Here's an action shot........Okay, and some other pics of my 53's progress. Got some of the car club together to do a thrash last weekend. New (old) leafs, a 57 merc rear, minor chop progress, and engine and transmission mounts built......slim

 

slim, you joker...laser vision welding...it took me a while to figure it out...hahaha...the progress looks good man, now you just gotta fill that motor up with parts and fire it up...

 

I figured few people would get it. I'm hoping to get it going by the spring. I have it up at my work now so I got better access to it...

 

ha those welds suck! i am certified vision welding cheese to chips.

 

Good time indeed now get back to work the parties are over!!
