Model T Sedan Chopped or Tall???

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by SinastirSpeedShop, Sep 18, 2007.

  1. I just purchase a 26 T sedan. I have been playing with the pictures with MS paint, chopping it down. What does everyone else think? Post some pictures of T sedans. I saw the post for T coupe now it time for sedan....

inkorekt's Tudor has the best chop I have seen! Very, very cool look!

    BUT

My Tudor is staying tall, but my coupe is gettin about 9" taken out and my roadster was chopped until it just looked right. (The middle of the windsheild is 9" tall)

  5. inkorekt very nice thank you for posting the pictures. What is the measurment from the floor to the top? Also what was your plan for a roof? Thank you...John

  6. If the body hadn't been as nice as it was, I woulda taken some off the top, but it was too nice to cut-

  7. although i'm kinda on the fence with T coupes , sedans do look better with a chop.

similar to 26tudor my coupe was too nice to cut :). I appreciate your restraint!

if you do chop it copy inkorekt, his chop is just perfect!

My opinion is they look better chopped, coupes, or sedans.

Lots are chopped to the max. They look wild.
Many are not chopped. They look resto-ish.
    Fewer are mildly chopped...
Keep messin with the computer to get the look YOU want.
Me? Mild. The wilds are getting too "common". But I'd still take one!
    Hey.. you asked. ;)

Build the rest of the car before even thinking about it.

What do you mean, floor to the top? Ground clearance? I think I have about 5 or 6 inches of ground clearance. I didn't channel the body the whole frame, there is about 1.5" of frame still exposed. My engine stuck up too much with it channeled the whole frame.

I plan on getting a stock wooden-bow top with vinyl covering.

just my opinion but I think a T should be tall. Chop everything else.

  16. inkorekt. I am sorry. I should have explain it better what I was asking for. The measurment I am after is the height inside the car from the floor pan to the top of the roof. With the 7" chop I am just wondering how much room there is. Thanks keep posting more pictures....

I like both chopped and non, but if I ever manage to find a decent T body I'll probably go un chopped or a very small one

Unless you are a professional basket ball player, the only way to go is to chop it. It will improve the look of the car and help it handle better.

I think the Tall Sedans have a certain 'Munsteresque' look to them
