My inspiration was after seeing the smokin 36's pick-up. As you can see this is nothing like it.

To me, there's some degree of "mulletude" to these trucks.

I love these machines.

 

Nothing new but a couple better shots,this was the second summer on the road. Been to the H.A.M.B drags,the Hunnert,Salina and daily driven inbetween with no problems. Alot of fun and haven't seen another one like mine,I like that! Later Rob one more

I'm really disappointed, not a single iron cross on any of these..............

 

Almost done with final mock up on mine. Then it's blow it apart for clean up and paint. I can't wait!

 

Bobbers? Hmmmm. "Bobber" motorcycles have shortened FENDERS, thus they're called Bobbers , kinda like a bobtail cat. these trucks have NO FENDERS, how can they be "Bobbed" if they (fenders) ain't there????? So, I like these Hot Rods!

here is my truck that my dad and i have been building since i was 12

it started out stupid but i got some help and know i think it dosent look have bad
and my opinion is that there are realy a couple of realy well done trucks out there and i hope that mine is one of them some day

Found this in the 1966 FEB issue of Car craft. looks pretty sweet.

 

Painterman, looking good. I've been watchinng your build and I like what you are doing...One thing though, your grill shell looks to be a few inches low and the hood seems to be angling down....I would bring it up a few inches so that the bed line, beltline, and hood are all parrallel to each other...Just my .02...Congrats on getting your truck mthis far, you've done a hell of a job! What color you painting it?
