I miss the Austin Powerplant, but the cars made up for everything. Thanks HAMB and gang for putting up another badass show this year. Thanks y'all Thanks! Your truck was one of my favorites last year, and it was cool to see it again. And I have one more set coming. I've got an old '47 Argus C3 camera that I used there too. It's fun to use on the era cars too. No sir, and I was at last year's show too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/95001020@N00/sets/72157626695389908/
Killer pics! You did our little 31 Coupe, too much justice with the camera. THanks! (It was the Green/Black/Rust coupe near the Jet & Chopper.
Cold? When you took that pick I was just thinking it's fffffffffffffffffffffairly cold today! However compared to the 28 degrees and 4 inches of the white stuff when I left home Thursday morning it was positively balmy. It has been said that in an open car there is no bad weather - only unsuitable clothing. The show was fantastic - I didn't think last year could be topped but it happened. 10 hours drive in an open 32 - making 5 or 6 new best friends - the Continental club at midnight - the ASS party - meeting Ryan -all priceless.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/95001020@N00/6489502631/ That's you? Hey, I'm a born and raised Texas boy. When we get into the 40s, I say it's cold. The show is great, and I love hearing that most all of these cars DROVE here from, well... everywhere, and through about everything. What separates the men from the boys, eh?
Here's a few more from the 1947 Argus C3 camera. I have another roll to develop.. the camera can be tricky to use and it didn't like the cold, so only a handful came out useful. Still love the thing. 008_8 by CST10, on Flickr 007_7 by CST10, on Flickr 011_11 by CST10, on Flickr 015_15 by CST10, on Flickr 010_10 by CST10, on Flickr 004_4 by CST10, on Flickr 002_2 by CST10, on Flickr 012_12 by CST10, on Flickr 017_17 by CST10, on Flickr
Well done shots.....thanks for sharing. Liked the Bonneville bound shot....I tried to take it off after running it out there in September, but it's "kinda stuck" on there....
Outstanding pictures of some outstanding hot rods. I fully agree, the Austin Powerplant gave an unbelievable backdrop - best setting for any show I've seen. The lawns suite Pebble Beach, the cold stacks suited The Revolution.
