Some really nice model cars, today. Here's my latest project. This will be a 1963 Watson Indy Roadster, all scratch built.
Cool stuff! That Indy roadster is amazing! More info please — what's the body made from? Scale?
Here some Pictues of today's Frankfurt Model Car Show in Frankfurt/Germany This 1/8 Shelby Cobra 427 engine is made out of resin and is not from TDR. More to see here http://public.fotki.com/carsntrucks4you/model_shows/frankfurt_modelcar/frankfurt-modelcar-show/
Thanks to all of you. It's 1/8 scale so pretty big; 22" long. The body is made out of fiberglass. The tires and frame are made out of styrene and the wheels are 1 1/2" conduit couplers witha styrene center section. I made a buck out of foam board and covered it with poster board then applied three layers of heavy (model airplane) glass with an addition of two more coats of resin.
This is the re-issued Monogram "Black Widow". I resisted the temptation to "fix" things or "upgrade" this kit to more modern standards. As it comes there's no transmission or differential and the engine itself is sorta crude and lacks much detail. But I decided I'd rather keep it "pure" and build it the way it was back when it was first issued. Except that I did use an airbrush to paint it.
