flipped spindles

    Does anyone have any pic's of a shoebox with flipped spindles? Really appreciate it....

  3. What is meant by "flipped spindles" ? Is that turning them upside-down ? Are they then switched from side to side ?

    This must be a "Ford only" trick.

    flipping them from the right to the left is an ol skool trick, but you gotta bent the steering arm to match.

    it works ok, gives you 2 inches of drop. but...why not do it right?

    Steering arm modifying etc.

    That's correct. In that old thread, listed on top of the pic, posters talked about how hard or easy it was to get the bend made.

    My buddy Chris did this on his 1950.

    He told me that if he had any idea how much
    time, energy and dollar $ign$ it took to KEEP the DRUM brakes,

    he would have just put in more overtime at work and gone disc.
