How bout my 56 Chevy? It's sitting on blocks with a freshly painted chassis sitting in the next stall awaiting parts to become a roller again.

Do I make it with my 59 f100?

Dont know if it would be considered traditional, but soon as I pick up my carbs I'll be running a tri powered 292 y block, got a volare front clip in it, dash is smoothed out, most body seams filled, wide whites, caddy tailights, hood smoothed,a few other custom touches to grill and interior..gonna shave the door handles soon and hopefully get the rear straightened out, and get some paint the truck

Per request by Alex: Some actual photos of the 48.

As she sits right now and at Vintiques a few years ago.

Yep she sits way too high in the ass end but there is only about 2 inches of clearance between the axle and the frame.

The wheels are going and it will have wide whites and caps.

No pictures of the frame but here is the body and clip. Frame is at my friends place... Not using the 1 ton frame. I snagged a 1/2 ton frame while back.

It is a 1940 Chevy cab and '46 clip. I have '46 bed sides, looking for rear fenders still.

    Hook me up Alex....

    Cheers.

My '49 could really use a notch. It's only got a couple inches between the axle and the frame now!

Can an early 60's guy play too?! As you can see the ass needs to come down a lot more and there is just no room to bring it down. It's rolling on a dropped front axle with reverse eye leafs in the front and sitting on steel wheels that's about as traditional as they get! Thanks for doing all the cool giveaways even if I'm too new to make it in.

I am building a 51 studebaker with my dad. we just bagged the front of the frame using dominator 2600 bags on a chevy truck ifs. tho were are modifying the crap out of the suspension, the body will stay mostly stock. i've owned the truck for 16 years (im 24 now. lol) and we both got laid off this year so we are getting quite a bit done inspite of the wicked heat. its nice to get to work with him. two years ago he had a massive heart attack and i was scared i was gonna lose him. thanks for the consideration guys!

the snowy picture is one i took of my truck, the blue truck is one i found on the net that i keep for inspiration!

  27. I see a couple of 1959 F100's on here. I have a 1960 F100 since its the same body style can I get in? This is my first project and I got it on Father's Day this year. It basically needs everything lol.

  28. I want in!!!

    Here's my '46 Chevrolet 1/2 ton:

It really needs an altitude adjustment out back!

My plans are a circa '63 treatment....fully lowered, reversed steelies with bias plys (maybe WWW, maybe pins, maybe blackwalls), spider caps, '54 Chevy dash, '53 bumpers smoothed and filled with rear overider....I think you get the idea!!!

It's down to bare frame now, so I'm sitting on ready for the kit!

    Thanks Mr.G!

Thanks for another give away! You guys ROCK!! I could and will use it on the 48 GMC pickup I'm doing. I'm doing old/new school build with a 235 six with dual carb/headers, HEI dist. hooked up to adapter plate with a 2004r overdrive trans, 3" dropped axle, disc brakes, with power steering conversion, power brakes, new lower rear springs and a S10 rear axle, Buick Riv. Wheels with spinners and narrow white walls. The gray motor is being used for mockup the red motor is going in the truck!. I'm working on boxing the frame and a notch kit would help do it correct. Please enter me!. Thanks Mel:D
