Didn't seem like $150 was enough.......I thought $160 was more appropriate....unless of course you want to bid $170.......then I would be forced to consider raising my bid again....

Thats crazy. I had an extra one. I sold it to the HAMB member for the same thing I paid for it. I thought we were all friends here. I'd be pissed if all my friends tried to profit off of me. Wouldn't you?

I think this thread is evidence that there is plenty of interest in having more made, whether it's this style, or a new style.

I see several people surprised by the high bids and also that think because of the "desire," that Ryan should cash in by flooding the market with them. You're TOTALLY missing the point of this auction!
It takes a LOT of time, effort and yeah....MONEY to maintain a web site with the band width and traffic of the HAMB. If you notice, post something now and come back in a couple of hours and it's on page 4! A LOT of traffic. Guys, in their generous desire to support Ryan's efforts, donate items that they think people would like to own. The guys that bid, for the most part, KNOW that they are (in a lot of instances) paying much more than the "actual" value for the item. They also know (for the most part) that they are actually "donating" to the continued operation of the HAMB with "winning" the item, a small but in a lot of instances, a cool reward. Thanks to fuxl for putting the topper up for grabs and for the guys that love the HAMB enough to want to "represent" AND for bidding .......knowing the good you are doing.
