Here's a picture of my Grandma (on the bumper) and her sister after getting stuck in the mud. They eventually got pulled out by a few horses. Can anyone identify the car? I think it's a '37 Ford. The picture is circa 1938.

It is. It's my '41 pickup. Not much progress on it yet, that's how it looked when I bought it. Has an early Nove sub-frame, '57 Chev rear end, I bought a 235 out of a '55 Chev car and got a T5 for it. Can't wait until it's on the road! It won't look much different when it's done though, the patina is too perfect to mess with in my opinion.

Very cool pics! Anyone have an idea on what year/model the car is in the top pic? I'm still thinking '37 Ford.

The young ladies dancing around the front bumper of the 37 Ford Tudor must have been pretty embarrassed to be found in that position. It is a greta picture.

I am years away from driving mine too. Would love to see some pics of your truck though, put them up here. I would also like to here what you're going to do with it (motor, tranny, suspension, etc...).

They probably were! Knowing them, they were probably on their way back from church too! I doubt their Dad was all too happy to bring out the horses to pull them out!

Here is one I picked up at the local second hand store. Must be from the 30s. He is pretty proud of his "Fliver" "Gow Job"

The pic of the 3 folks in the "A" is great! Are they relatives of yours?

  27. here are a few.

  28. Just the guys in the 39... This is on my Fathers side!

The Roadster photo was really cool so I lifted it from
    "who knows where"...!:D

My Mom was the youngest of eleven kids and my Dad was in the middle of seven and all my uncles served in the military and every time they were on "Leave" they would gather together for photographs because they wouldn't know when one wouldn't make it back!

Here are a few shots from my Mothers side!

    37 Ford for sure.

  30. Yeah, you've most definitely got a 37 Ford there. I'd say the photo was circa 1940 according to the writing on it though! Kool shot none the less.
