Was he ever in a movie in a green 1955 ford customline? I came upon a car that the owner swears James dean rod in this car or was in the car in a movie the car is originally from out west
Tell 'im I have a pair of James Dean's underwear I'll trade for it Okay.. not THAT james Dean, but still.... It's entirely possible. He only made 2 movies (but a fair bit of TV) after 1954/55... INternet Movie Car database may find it in Giant or East of Eden...
does the car smell like sausage........you know he made some damn good sausage.......or maybe Jerry Reed oh yeah
I think this might be right gonna call the old owner again and confirm this it seems the car is from Oltin Texas?
Even if he didn't own it we came out good let's just say we bought it for less than... If we went to the grocery store
Dude, never believe everything you hear. People will say anything to make a sale. Makes me wonder though about what became of his speedster.
He did die in September of 55.... East of Eden was shot in 54 Rebel was released one month after his death Giant came out in 56 after his death as well... Maybe in Giant?
Granted this is all conjecture without documentation. I mean how many 55 Fords were there? How many were the same color of the one he had/owned? etc etc etc...
It's in my garage next to some ocean front property in Colorado I'd like to sell you.... Irregardless it's a great 55 ford that was purchased. Thankfully it was purchased before the Dean claim was made so as to not bump the price.
I wasn't claiming him to have owned the car or being a part of it... His name was just brought up after we purchased the car that he had something to do with this car. His name had nothing to do with buying the car we were buying it anyway.. He is getting us some documentation he says if not so be it but either way we gonna drive the shit out of it
Handles on the door panel look like 1955 Ford for sure.......same handles from 1951 through 1955 or 56 I believe..... CB
The only Ford I've ever heard of him being associated with was a 1955 Country Squire that was white. It was to be the tow car for his Porsche, but unfortunately he decided to drive the Porsche that fateful day. In early scenes in Giant, before he strikes oil, he drives a Model T.
