What I know about photography could be written in a matchbook. I know there are a bunch of threads now on the REVOLUTION car show but by golly I'm going to throw some of the many photos I took. I took many more but I tried to throw the most interesting ones up here on the good ol HAMB. Thanks to all involved who put on this show. This show and what it had in it (people and cars) was a real palette cleanser for me. Amazing how different things feel when things get distilled down to the heart of where Hot Rod roots live. Thanks to all those who came over to my little corner and stopped by. The news at the show was that the REVOLUTION will be returning to Austin next year. Inhale, exhale, ahhhh! Hope you like the shots. Sorry if some look like everyone else's photos. Bernie You can see the state capital dome in the far background. My corner of the world. Gave the camera to some looney bird for the shot. That's me looking up.
I know some were exploring the power plant, and for those who wondered about the inside here are a few shots from inside. Sorry Ryan, I told him "stay out". My sons foot.
Two of Docs cars in one shot. The Bruce's Rod Shop clan was out in full force. Always good to see all of you.
That show is unreal. The back drop!! the cars!! it is like a dream! This car nailed the look. any info on it. Love the stance, color, wheel tire combo. It is just sweet. I want one.
Great cars, and a great venue! Is that weathered '36 the one that was in The Rodder's Journal a while back?
Ever hear of a guy named Ryan?,,seems he runs a couple of little internet hot rod boards,,and puts on a show or two. HRP
Oh shit!! I need to find a rock to crawl under!! To be honest I never new he had a sadan!! That is what I get for living on a island!
Do you have any more pictures of the 36? Ford, a survivor or a patinated special, looks good regardless. Superb choice of location as a photographic backdrop. Congrats.
Great shots of some awesome cars. Is that Billy Gibbon's deuce roadster with the copper flatty? Thanks for the pics!!
Great shots! Funny how looking at the photos from other people, there was alot I missed seeing even though it was a small show. Of course the 2-1/2 year old didn't help matters much! Thanks for the photos, especially the killer interior shots.
One of my favorite cars on earth. Here is a bit more info and pics...enjoy http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=7806
Nice shots bro, lusting over Joe Cabral's green A sedan?, yes, I understand that, smokin ride. That's Joe behind the car with the black ball cap on, talking with Dave Gonzales of the The Stone River Boys, after they played a killer set!! Joe Cabral of The Iguana's Band of New Orleans is an old home boy from Omaha and a member of the Kontinentals Car Club of Austin. ~Sololobo~
Great selection of some really cool traditional rods.. Thanks.. I'm going back to the garage now.............
