The carb setup is done!!! They come from some old hot rod and the crome are pretty ruff but I like that they look used. The fuelline are made in 3/8" stainless pipe all the way from the fuelpump. After all a Hot Rod are made to drive! <TABLE class=tyda_res_body_trans cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 hasbox="2"><TBODY hasbox="2"><TR hasbox="2"><TD class=tyda_no_padding_top hasbox="2"> </TD><TD class="tyda_trans_actions tyda_no_padding_top"> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Looks great! Nice stainless work. I prefer the used look over the new shiny look myself, more appealing to me. I couldn't agree with you more over your last comment.
Fxxxing Hell!!!! What have I got myself in to? 7 days until the car show and I haven't even started the engin yet. This is my "to do" list for this weekend Tomorrow: weld a aluminum gas tank and wire the engin. Friday: Start the engin. Saturday:Finish the wire work unfortunately my time plan have a tendency to be a little optimistic haha
While doing the wiring, just remember "The 3 P's", "Patience, Perseverance and Profanity". It will get you thru just fine. Looking forward to seeing the finished rod!
Can't wait to see the finished product. Be sure to post pics from the show and good luck with the wiring!
The gas tank was a lilttle tricky to make. My break is not strong enugh so I hade to weld all corners. Allmost 10 gallon.
Hey let me know how that 2x2 set up works on the Chevy motor. I wanted to do the same thing but ended up going with a 4x2 intake. Love the build!!!
He made it! Thanks for bringing the car over. The air susp. setup looks good and the whole car is killer!!! --mika
