    That one's by Gläser. Lot of German bodies we're getting.

    '36 tourer by Jensen. This is a particularly happy example of a type that was very easy to get wrong. Many coachbuilders tried tourers on the wider chassis of the '30s with far less satisfactory results.

    Here are a couple of pictures of the Oliver Hines '33 Ford Coupe as it looks now. Currently owned by Barry Ewing, Detroit Autorama 2011 coverage in the August 2011 Rod And Custom Magazine reads;

    And speaking of important history, here's a good throwback for you; the Oliver Hines built '33 Ford now owned by Barry Ewing. Among it's distinctive eastern flavored touches is the sweetheart Brewster grille, a definite unique feature given the rarity (and value) of the vehicle that bore the grille in the first place.

    my old 30 cabriolet roadster was coach-built by either murry or briggs ill try and look it up. you can see some of the wood in this picture, the whole subframe was wood also. my friend joe bought it off me and hes now building it back into a hotrod in my driveway, ill try to get some pictures later.

    I'm not sure it was coachbuilt to begin with, just posted because it has Brewster touches now. If it was truly a coachbuilt car it would have been a crime to mess with it.

    Some A Fords built in Sweden or Denmark,got a rear door .Could have been made for salesmen that wanted a carlike impression without going for a pick up or a delivery.

  12. wasnt only in sweden, they were called flower cars and it was a factory option on the tudor i believe (they could also be had with the rear side windows blacked out). i have heard they're either the second or third rearest factory option around for the years they were available.

    Our Cologne plant built some tailgate Model-As as well, but unfortunately none of the the Cologne built model As survived to my knowledge.

    1931 German Model-A with lettering form a Cologne drugstore.
    The dealer plate and the Leverkusen chemistry works in the background indicate this photo was taken on the plant's premises next to the river Rhine.
