Stabbed the 400CID and tranny into the 55 Yesterday! Then started frankensteining a set of headers into tri-y's so they fit. Hope to fire it up...
Anyone know the rules regardings using model year plates on your car in Texas? For example 1955 texas plate on a 1955 model year car. Thanks!

I picked up some pipes recently. While I think they might be cool on the 55 Belvy I am a little nagged about something I can't put my finger on....
So I take the rear leaf springs from the '55 Plymouth into Texas Springs in Amarillo, Texas to have'em de-arced 3" I throw 'em up on the bench...
I equate craftmanship with skill. Going the extra mile to grind a weld dosen't make one a craftsman. Laying down a bead of perfect proportion does.
Pulled the leaf springs and rear end out of the 55 Plymouth today. I am going to take the springs in the have them reworked as they are missing...
