Could someone who has this United Pacific hinge bracket please give me a depth measurement.
That is the distance from the rippled part with the slotted holes, forward to where it bolts/screws onto the windshield frame.
That is a side on measurement from what is shown in the photos.
(I don’t want to order a pair and find that they need to be modified).
    Thanks in advance !

    thanks,
I have a aluminium frame, that is hand built here in New Zealand, from aluminium extrusion.
So I don’t know if it slightly thicker than the speedway motors - Mr Roadster ones that I bought years ago.
They came with their own hardware which didn’t fit my chopped car then, so I had to modify the brackets, so much so, I actually ended up making new brackets.
I have some leftover pieces of brackets, not UPI ones that I can make to fit, but it would be easier to just buy them ready to go.

Thanks @RockyMtnWay , I appreciate the time you took to measure them. They would work.
It is the middle photo dimension that I was after, as I don’t want to find the windshield sticks out from the car and leaks !
In the photo I posted in post one, the camera angle makes them look longer, hence the question.
    Thanks again, - Clemens.

ps, the old reproduction ones I have, don’t have the groves, so with vibrations, I suspect that they may move a little, probably doesn’t really matter.
